Hi eveyone (I just joined),
Anyone ever heard of Ratsmagic by Wayne Anderson? Tough to find, out of print, yet such a beautiful, unique book. The illustrations are oil paintings. It was a banned book for a while when I was a kid, because a fairy's nipples stick out through her dress (ridiculous). Oh, and it does entail witchcraft and magic...revealing the secret contents of Bluebird's marvelous egg. This is my all-time favorite children's book. Please tell if you have heard of it. If you haven't, it's worth trying an independent book finder/researcher. An essential book for any children's book library!

    Hi Deebug

I do indeed and was a proud owner of this book as a child. It met it's demise in the road during a house move.. however I did manage to replace it on Amazon. But I agree if nothing else worth the money purely for those gorgeous pictures.
